ape added 1 item to Games of 1996 - ranked by preference list
Release Date: 1996 (NA) Publisher: Disney Interactive Developer: Funcom Genre: AdventureI have no nostalgia when it comes to Pocahontas - I believe that it was the first Disney film to come out when I stopped watching most Disney films. So, I have no idea how accurate anything about this game is when compared to the film...but I do know that the game isn't too bad. It looks gorgeous, which makes sense since it came out at the end of the Genesis' life cycle, but it also plays pretty well, too. If you remember this film from your childhood, there may be some nostalgia for you...but as I found out, even without the nostalgia, this is still a game worth checking out.

ape added 1 item to Games of 2009 - ranked by preference list
Release Date: 2009 (NA) Publisher: ? Developer: ? Genre: PlatformerI totally expected this to be terrible, but it's surprisingly not that bad. In fact, with some more work, The Pringles Game would have been pretty dang good. As it currently is, with 12 levels across 3 worlds themed after Pringles flavors, it's fun...but it doesn't last. It took me maybe 5 minutes to complete every level. With more content, I can only imagine that this could have been a really good homebrew game. Instead, it's impressive, but merely passable.

ape added 1 item to Games I've Beaten At Least Once list
Beat January 1, 2017
I did not expect to start off the new year by beating a Genesis homebrew game about the decapitated Pringles head eating Pringles chips...but that's how the year has started, so I guess I'll go with it. Anyway, The Pringles Game is actually pretty good...but it's also very short...like 5 minutes short. With the short game length and pretty low replay value, I can't really recommend this game for the sake of being entertained. Buuuut, if you're looking to see a unique game with very good graphics and a good concept, the Pringles Game is worth checking out...and if there was more content, I probably would be singing its praises even more.
