UFC Undisputed 2010
Beaten April 27, 2016 It's been a while since I've beaten a new game, but I've been playing a few PSP games with the goal of updating the PSP ranked by preference list, and UFC Undisputed 2010 has now found itself beaten. I mostly enjoy the time I spent playing this, but the game is somewhat buggy. Twice I've knocked someone out, but they didn't fall to the mat. I threw a punch and the match suddenly came to a stop...Then the next screen, I saw that I supposedly knocked them out eventhough they didn't seem to have any problems moving around as the match ended. Glitches aside, UFC Undisputed 2010 is a decent MMA game on the go, should you want one. It likely won't "wow" anyone, but there's enough here where most MMA fans will enjoy the experience.

4PM
Beat March 28, 2016 4PM is a very short game that's essentially an interactive short story...Unfortunately, the controls kinda stink. They're not terrible, but they just don't feel right when you play...almost awkward. But anyway, 4PM tackles both suicide and alcoholism in its story, and while its not a deep story, it is somewhat interesting to see how the two come together in the way that they do...it's not quite how you'd imagine they would. Anyway, if you've got 25 minutes to kill and you're looking for a quick game to complete, this would be a decent choice. It's not great by any means, but you could do a whole lot worse than this.

Metal Slug X
Beat March 25, 2016 I haven't beaten Metal Slug X in years, but it was fun revisiting one of my favorite games in the franchise again...Granted the difficulty here isn't quite as severe, with the option of unlimited lives, but even with the need to strategically shoot your way through levels gone, the sheer personality of the enemies that you encounter is enough to make this game entertaining enough to play through to the end, which will take approximately 35-45 minutes to complete. If shooters amuse you and you're looking for a game to complete in less than an hour, Metal Slug X is a fantastic choice.

MANOS: The Hands of Fate - Director
Beat March 22, 2016 Manos: The Hands of Fate first came to my attention when I found it on the iTunes store. I promptly bought it and downloaded it to my iPod Touch and absolutely loved it. Fast forward a couple of years and by chance, I decided to browse all of the games on sale on Steam this week, and found the PC version of the game, Manos: The Hands of Fate - Director's Cut. The game doesn't feel as impressive with a controller as it does with a touch pad, and the thrills of platforming through one of my favorite bad films aren't quite there this time around...though Torgo's theme and boss fight still makes me smile. But anyway, thanks to the controller support, this game is pretty much a piece of cake...1ups are plentiful, so even if you get stuck in an area, it's not likely that you'll run out of lives. Anyway, if you missed out on this game on iTunes, it's worth checking out on PC, especially if you're a fan of the film like I am.

Reveal The Deep
Beat March 7, 2016 This was unexpectedly good....really good. Reveal the Deep is usually $1 USD...I got it for half price....and it's well worth the small amount of money that the developer is asking for. While it's short - maybe an hour and a half long total - it is very good while it lasts. It has very minor horror elements to it, but this is mostly about exploration and solving some puzzles via the neat concept of turning the lights on and off to show different paths. It's not complicated, and as I said earlier, it's not very long...but this is a good, cheap game that you could play and complete on a day when you're bored and looking for something a little different....And for this game's price, it could be half as good as it is and still be worth the money.

To the Moon
Beat February 23, 2016 I've been meaning to play To the Moon for a while, but I avoided it because I heard it was kind of an emotional game and I didn't want to feel like a blubbering sissy. But, now I've played it, and while I thought it was a really good, romantic game, I'm proud to say that it didn't make me shed a tear....I'M STILL A MAN, DANG IT!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!.....Eh, I've shed tears before for other games, so I'm still a blubbering sissy, I suppose. But anyway, it's a very nice game...I'm not as smitten with it as most folks that have played it, but it's still quite good. If you want a warm, fuzzy story to warm your heart, with some occasional comedy tossed in, this is a pretty good game to play.

Downfall (2016 Remake)
Beat February 21, 2016 I never played the original Downfall (though I will, it comes packaged with the remake) but I am a HUGE fan of The Cat Lady. Seeing that this game had the same artistic and gameplay style, I instantly wanted to play it. While I don't think that the story or game is as good as The Cat Lady, I still very much enjoyed it. Plus, there's some nice stuff here and there in the game that links this game to The Cat Lady, which I found pretty nifty. The game has multiple endings, and it probably won't take very long to beat once you know what you're doing - maybe an hour or two, so I'll likely go back and play it again to see if I can figure out ways to get different endings and see new scenarios. If you like point-and-click adventures and/or very dark, twisted stories, then Downfall is worth checking out.

My Name is Mayo
Beat February 16, 2016 My Name is Mayo is a very simple game....basically, you just click on the mouse repeatedly to tap a jar of mayonnaise. While that sounds boring and dull...and it definitely can be...this game also does something unique in the form of achievements - as you unlock them, they tell a story. These stories told as the achievements pop are what kept me clicking away long after I thought I'd have any desire to click. After about 40 minutes of clicking, every achievement was unlocked, every story was told, and 10,000 clicks had been done. If you're into bizarre humor and don't mind a little tedious mouse clicking to get a few chuckles, then My Name is Mayo is an inexpensive game worth checking out.
